A very proud moment for Nashik City Police as our PI Kirti Patil becomes the first woman police officer from Maharashtra to successfully complete the NSG’s Bomb Disposal Course at the NSG Training Academy, Manesar, that brought together 331 officers from all the key Police, Defence and Paramilitary forces across the country, along with 27 international participants from countries including Cambodia, Botswana, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Seychelles, Lesotho, Tanzania and Tajikistan. आता त्यांच्याकडे नाशिक शहर पोलीस दलाच्या बीडीडीएस [Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad] पथकाच्या प्रभारी अधिकारी म्हणून जबाबदारी सोपविण्यात आली आहे. नाशिक सिंहस्थ कुंभमेळ्यासाठी सज्ज होत असताना ही अत्यंत महत्त्वाची जबाबदारी आहे. नाशिक शहर पोलीस दलात महिला नेहमीच आघाडीवर राहतील, महत्त्वाच्या कार्यकारी जबाबदाऱ्या समर्थपणे सांभाळतील आणि पोलीसिंगच्या क्षेत्रात नवे मापदंड प्रस्थापित करतील. #NashikCityPolice #NashikPreparesForKumbh

Key Update: The men seen in the late-night CCTV footage illegally cutting down trees planted by Nashik Municipal Corporation on the Gangapur Road divider as part of the city’s plantation and beautification efforts, have been arrested. Following the video shared with us by citizens, our Gangapur Police Station team identified and arrested the key accused and his five associates. The reason for cutting the trees, as revealed during investigations was even more shocking: The accused, who owned a hoarding agency, had instructed his staff to cut the trees because they were obstructing the visibility of his advertising hoardings..! A young woman received repeated emails from a stranger. When she didn’t respond, he revealed that he knew where she lived, came near her home and left roses & chocolates there. Concerned for her safety, she posted a reel that alerted our Cyber Patrolling team who got in touch with her within minutes. Our Crime Branch Unit 1 team worked overnight, scanned CCTV footages, traced the vehicle, identified the 30-year-old man and took him into custody early morning. Official Update | Corporate & Religious Harassment Case The absconding accused (Cr. No. 156/26, PS Deolali Camp) has been taken into custody last night from Naregao, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, following a 2-day joint surveillance operation by Nashik City Police & CSN City Police. Investigation revealed she was harboured by the local corporator of Naregao who has now been made an accused in the case.
