To the boy I was, the boy I grew up to be, and the professional chef we three became. ❤️ Sometimes, I wish I could sit beside that three-year-old little fellow and tell him what lies ahead. The kitchens he will walk into, the people he will meet, the dreams he will chase, the battles he will fight, and the life he will build. I wonder if he would believe me. Or would he simply look at me with those curious little eyes, smile, and go back to playing? And that eleven-year-old boy? I wonder if he would be amused to know that the world would one day know him as a chef. Neither of them knew the journey. Neither knew the milestones, the disappointments, the applause, or the responsibility that would come with following a dream. They simply lived, hoped, and kept going. Today, when I look at them, I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. For the innocence that kept me grounded, the dreams that kept me moving, and the courage to keep showing up, even when the road wasn't easy. Everything I am today began with them. And if there is one thing I want them to know, it is this: we may have grown up, but we haven't forgotten where we began. To my little selves - thank you for getting me here.
