Saptami pandal hopping at FD Block, Salt Lake, and a delicious little discovery along the way. 🫠 Came across the @kissan_india booth and got to try three chutneys — Sweet & Spicy Sauce, Aam Kasundi Chutney and Khaatti Meethi Imli Khajoor Chutney. Pujo means family, festive flavours and a table full of Bengali favourites! ❤️ This Durga Puja, I’m making Katla Rezala with a little help from the Havells Denso Plus. Recipe: • Marinate Katla with salt and turmeric, then lightly fry until golden. • Dry roast whole spices and grind them into a fine powder using the Denso Plus. • Boil onion, ginger, garlic, green chillies, cashews, poppy seeds and melon seeds until soft, then blend into a smooth paste. • Heat ghee, add the ground spices and paste, and cook for 5–7 minutes. • Slowly mix in whisked curd, warm water, sugar, salt and white pepper. Let the gravy simmer until creamy. • Add the fried Katla and cook for another 4–5 minutes. Finish with roasted makhana, garam masala and kewra water.
