ReelsYour child doesn’t only respond to what you say. They also respond to how it feels to be around you. In the early years, children rely heavily on their caregivers for co-regulation. Your presence, attention and emotional state can become important signals of safety and connection for them. This is why emotional presence matters so much. It’s not about being calm or perfect all the time it’s about being present, noticing what your child is feeling, and reconnecting when things get difficult. ❤️ Watch the full video on my YouTube channel to understand how emotional presence shapes your child and the 5 qualities you can start practising at home. PostsIndependence is one of the most important things we can teach our children before they step into adult relationships. Let your daughter learn how to earn, save, manage money and make her own financial decisions. Let your son learn how to cook, clean, organise a home and take care of himself. Because a healthy relationship is two capable people choosing to build a life together not depending on each other for basic responsibilities. Raise children who choose partners for love, respect and companionship. ❤️ [financial independence, raising daughters, raising sons, life skills for children, healthy relationships, independent children, parenting values, conscious parenting]

CarouselConnection with your child doesn’t always require hours of extra time. Sometimes, it’s about how you show up during the small moments that already exist in their day. The first few minutes after they wake up, the transition from play or screens, and those quiet moments before bedtime can become opportunities to make your child feel seen and connected. Instead of filling these moments with instructions and corrections, try slowing down offer a hug in the morning, help them transition calmly, or ask one meaningful question before bed. Six intentional minutes won’t make every day perfect. But repeated consistently, these small moments can strengthen the connection you share. ❤️ Which of these 3 moments would you like to be more intentional about? ReelsMotherhood should never require you to disappear. Loving your child deeply and choosing yourself are not opposite things. In fact, when a mother feels confident, fulfilled, and emotionally secure, her child grows up watching what self-worth looks like. Every day, your child is learning one important lesson: What does a mother do with her own dreams? And that lesson can shape the way they see women, ambition, and themselves. If somewhere along the journey you’ve lost your identity outside of being “Mumma,” this is your reminder it’s not too late to find yourself again. ❤️ Hi, I’m Riddhi Deorah. I help mothers heal, rebuild their confidence, and create deeper relationships with their children through my community. ReelsYou can pack the lunches, help with homework, plan the activities, follow the routines and still wonder why your child is struggling emotionally. Because parenting isn’t only about everything we do for our children. It’s also about how present we are with them. Can they come to you when they’re sad? Do they feel noticed when something is wrong? When they’re excited about something small, do they feel like you’re excited with them? Being emotionally present doesn’t mean getting it right every time. You will lose patience. You will miss cues. You will have difficult days. What matters is noticing, reconnecting, and repairing when things go wrong. Your child doesn’t need a flawless parent. They need to know that through all the imperfect moments, you’re still there to see them, hear them, and reconnect. ReelsDear moms, taking care of yourself doesn’t always need a big plan. Sometimes, it starts with a simple walk. Walking can lift your mood, clear your mind, reduce stress and support your physical health. And just as importantly, it gives you a little time that’s just for YOU. You spend so much of your day caring for everyone else. You deserve to feel good, too. If you already walk, comment “WALK” below. If you haven’t started yet, comment “I WILL START TODAY.” Let this be your little promise to yourself.

ReelsI’ll focus on myself when things settle down.” But motherhood rarely reaches a point where everything is finally settled. The responsibilities simply change as your children grow. And when you keep putting yourself last, your child may also grow up watching a woman who always makes space for everyone except herself. Healing doesn’t mean becoming a perfect mother. It can mean learning to manage your emotions, making space for your own needs, and becoming more present in the life you’re already living. Taking care of yourself isn’t separate from taking care of your family. ❤️ Share this with one mother who needs this reminder today. CarouselMotherhood may look more convenient today, but convenience doesn’t automatically mean less exhaustion. Groceries arrive in minutes, meals come to the door, and technology saves time—but the invisible work of remembering, planning, organising, worrying, and caring still has to be carried by someone. Many mothers are balancing their children, careers, homes, relationships, finances, and everyone else’s needs, often without the village previous generations could rely on. So if motherhood feels heavier than you expected, you may not need to become better at “managing everything.” You may need more support, more recovery, and fewer expectations to carry it all alone. ❤️ Hi, I’m Riddhi Deorah, and I run a community of 20,000+ mothers who are raising children without losing themselves to burnout. Follow me for honest conversations that help you feel seen.
