ReelsI know this sounds extreme. But trust me, this gives your skin and gut the reset they’ve been longing for. After 2 months you can go back to having some of these things in moderation. Alcohol and smoking will still be off limits for most of you. I wish someone told me this during my college days. Alcohol is not just bad for your liver, it does fuck up your gut health. I had to learn it the hard way. #acne #isotretinoin #acnetreatment #undermyskin

ReelsCollagen loss doesn’t suddenly show up as wrinkles. It starts much earlier — with changes in firmness, texture, fine lines and how your skin bounces back. And while moisturising is important, it can’t do the whole job. ☀️ UV exposure is one of the biggest drivers of collagen breakdown, which is why I always look at anti-ageing through two lenses: protect what you have + support what your skin is already doing. That’s what caught my attention about @rebloom.cosmedica TimeResolv™️ SPF 50 PA++++. It combines: • Copper Tripeptide-1 — 100 PPM • PDRN — 100 PPM • Broad-spectrum sun protection — SPF 50 PA++++ So you’re getting daily UV protection alongside ingredients designed to support skin renewal and firmness, in a single step. And from a practical standpoint, I like that it’s lightweight, layers well and doesn’t leave me feeling like I’ve added yet another heavy product to my routine. One important reminder: more actives ≠ better skincare. If you’re already using strong retinoids or exfoliating acids, introduce new actives thoughtfully rather than piling everything on at once. Because good anti-ageing skincare isn’t about doing more. It’s about doing the right things consistently. 🤍 #AntiAgingSkincare #Collagen #Sunscreen #SPF50 #SkinHealth

ReelsAD | Vitamin C isn’t just about the percentage—it’s about the formulation. ✨ When choosing a Vitamin C serum, don’t just look at the Vitamin C percentage. Look at the form of Vitamin C and the ingredients it’s paired with. A formulation with 15% Vitamin C + 0.5% Ferulic Acid + Vitamin E provides enhanced antioxidant support against oxidative stress while supporting concerns like pigmentation, dullness and uneven skin tone. Because with a Vitamin C serum, it’s not just about how much Vitamin C—it’s about what’s working alongside it. 🍊 #VitaminC #VitaminCSerum #Biluma #ad #DermatologistRecommended

ReelsI just chose the right kind of hard. If you're dealing with acne, I understand you. I feel you. I know how frustrating it can get at times. Being somebody who is not herself blessed with the "best" skin genetics, I'm gluten intolerant, and even a small amount of anything containing wheat can give me acne. Do I not miss eating cakes 🍰 ? Do I not miss eating croissants 🥐 ? Do I not miss eating freshly baked bread? Hell yes, I do! But I know every bite is going to come at a cost. Sometimes the easiest thing to do is to simply accept your reality and live with it. 😁There's always the possibility of learning how to bake without gluten, like me, and eat as many breads, cookies, and cakes as you want to. No matter where you are in your journey with acne, hormone imbalances, or gut issues, do know that help is only a tap away. You can find out more details in my Instagram bio. ReelsVitamin D — the deficiency almost nobody's testing for 🌞 Your protein, magnesium, and collagen supplements can wait. Your body might be asking for something else entirely. Why this matters: Vitamin D is one vitamin your body can't make on its own unless you're getting 1.5–2 hours of direct sunlight daily. Most of us aren't. In my clinic, 9 out of 10 patients test low. Step 1: Get tested A Vitamin D blood test (25-OH Vitamin D) costs roughly ₹300–₹500 and tells you exactly where you stand. Step 2: Know your range 🔴 Deficient: below 20 ng/mL 🟡 Insufficient/Borderline: 20–30 ng/mL 🟢 Sufficient: 30 ng/mL and above Step 3: Correct it based on your number Deficient range → 60,000 IU Vitamin D, once a week, for 8 weeks Borderline range → 60,000 IU Vitamin D, once a week, for 4 weeks Step 4: Maintain it Once corrected, don't stop. Continue the same 60,000 IU dose once a month — set a reminder for the 1st of every month — to keep levels from dropping back into deficiency. Why it matters beyond bones: Uncontrolled thyroid, higher inflammation, recurring flare-ups, hormone imbalances — Vitamin D is quietly linked to all of it. 📢 Share this with everyone in your circle. Nobody around you should be walking around Vitamin D deficient without even knowing it. ⚠️ Disclaimer: This content is for general educational and informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Dosage and duration of supplementation must be individualised based on your own blood test results and overall health status. If you have any existing medical condition, are pregnant, or are breastfeeding, please consult your doctor before starting any supplement. Always consult a qualified physician before beginning any Vitamin D supplementation regimen.

ReelsTouch it. Pick it. Regret it. But picking only makes it worse— more redness, more irritation, and even marks. For those sudden, painful pimples… you need protection, not pressure ✨ Pimple patches help cover the spot and reduce the urge to pick. Look for ingredients like: • Salicylic acid – helps target the pimple • Canadian Willowherb – soothes the skin • Centella Asiatica – helps reduce redness 🌿 One such option is Benzac Power Patch. PostsDiabetes is not just about sugar, but the carbs we consume without thinking, 3 times a day. India did not become the diabetic capital of the world in a day. It happened over years. Here are a few culprits in my opinion (feel free to disagree) 1. Adapting western diet Everyone blames indian food for being high in carbs, but we fail to notice the western crap being served to us at dirt cheap prices (likes of mc donald’s and domino’s) as a result we eat our high carb indian food on weekdays and the ultra processed maida rich food on the weekends. 2. India has gotten rich: There is less labour intensive activities remaining in our daily lives. We can afford house help for daily chores, pay to get our car washed, pay someone to walk our dog. We can afford to drive our car to fetch groceries (or even get it delivered at a little extra convenience cost). 3. Toxic stressful work culture: Let’s be honest, there’s hardly any work life balance. Leading to stress, poor eating and no exercising. All fuel for hormonal imbalances, obesity and diabetes. The obvious solution is right in front of everyone- eat mindfully and exercise. But I also know, no one wakes up one fine morning dedicated to getting healthy. It has to be a gradual shift in lifestyle, if it has to last longer. It’s not about losing weight, it’s about shifting into a lifestyle that automatically helps you loose weight and gain health. In my consultations, when I discuss lifestyle changes with my patients. This is always my first advice— rather than trying to make fancy meals and overwhelm yourself, 1. Start exercising 2. Change the portion size of the meals you are already making on a daily basis. There’s always a step 2. But this is usually where you start!
ReelsMost people are not lazy with sunscreen… they just haven’t found one they enjoy using. And honestly, I get it. Heavy texture, greasy finish, white cast… koi bhi roz nahi lagayega. That’s why texture matters just as much as SPF. This one surprised me 👇 ✔️ Lightweight gel → absorbs like skincare, not a layer ✔️ No white cast → so you actually apply enough ✔️ Modern filters → stable, long-lasting protection ✔️ Fragrance-free + non-comedogenic → acne-prone skin friendly As a doctor, this is what I look for: 👉 Not just SPF number—but how well you’ll stick to using it daily Because the best sunscreen? The one you don’t feel like skipping. 💬 Tell me—what’s your biggest sunscreen struggle? ReelsOily skin but still feeling tight after washing? 🤔💭 That’s not “clean” skin—that’s dehydrated skin 💧⚠️ Sebum ≠ hydration ❗ Oil sits on the surface 🪞, while hydration works deeper within the skin barrier 🧬 When hydration drops ⬇️, the barrier gets disrupted 🚫—and your skin starts producing even more oil 🛢️ That’s why it feels stretchy right after washing… and oily again in a few hours ✨ Look for ingredients like niacinamide 🧪, panthenol 🌿, and glycerin 💧—they help support the barrier and maintain hydration In my opinion, one such option is Cetaphil Oily Skin Cleanser 🤍—designed to cleanse without stripping your skin 👩⚕️ Consult your doctor before changing your skincare routine #CetaphilIndia #CetaphilOilySkinCleanser #OilySkinCare #DermatologistRecommended #ad Collab

ReelsFor the longest time, I thought self-care meant treating myself. A little online shopping here, a quick “add to cart” there. It felt good… for a moment. A tiny dopamine hit in between busy days. But like most shortcuts, the feeling never lasted. I always wanted the next new thing. I slowly realised that a lot of what we call self-care today is actually just distraction. And distraction is temporary. Real change will always be more demanding. It will demand discipline, it will demand commitment, and patience. So I decided to shift from self-care to self-investment. Here’s how I gently brought myself back on track: 1. Break the trigger Online shopping was never about the things — it was about the scroll. Endless scrolling made it way too easy to buy things I didn’t need. So the first step was simple: stop mindless scrolling, stop mindless buying. 2. Choose slower dopamine Instead of quick fixes, I started leaning into slower, more meaningful ones. Want flowers? Grow them. Want to experiment with style? Start styling the clothes already in your cupboard. Tempted to buy new skincare? Finish what you already have first. It’s slower — but so much more satisfying. 3. Invest in yourself The most rewarding “treats” turned out to be things that actually build you — your health, your finances, your skills, your growth. Because self-care can feel good for a day. But self-investment changes how to live your life. And the beautiful part? The confidence that comes from it is not temporary. What’s one way you’ve started investing in yourself lately? 🌱 #thewomanyouare #thewomaniam #investinyourself #motilaloswal

Reels@eucerinindia is one of the most recommended brands for pigmentation! It’s trusted by derms and here’s why - Post-acne hyperpigmentation does NOT disappear because you exfoliated harder. In fact, over-scrubbing can make it worse. Here’s what actually works 👇 1️⃣ Apply your sunscreen. Every. Single. Day. If you’re using de-pigmenting products but not protecting your skin from UV + visible light, you’re literally undoing your own progress. No serum can fight daily sun exposure. You need a sunscreen. 2️⃣ Be consistent with ONE proven de-pigmenting ingredient. Not 5 serums. Not weekly switching. Consistency > chaos. Eucerin Anti-Pigment Dual Serum contains Thiamidol — a science-backed anti-spot ingredient that targets excess melanin at the source and starts showing visible improvement in about 2 weeks* (with consistent use). Reels#collaboration If you work out regularly and need to wash your scalp daily, choosing the right shampoo matters more than you think. One shampoo does not suit everyone — your scalp condition should always guide your choice. Here’s how to pick correctly: ✨ Frequent workouts / daily washing A mild, pH-balanced shampoo like @sebamedindia pH 5.5 Daily Shampoo cleanses gently without disrupting the scalp barrier. ✨ Oily scalp, mild dandruff or build-up Choose a sulphate-free anti-dandruff shampoo with soothing ingredients and exfoliating actives. @naturali.in Anti-Dandruff Shampoo contains Hemp, Sage, and Salicylic Acid to calm itchiness and remove build-up without over-drying. ✨ Hair fall with no scalp issues You need a gentle cleanser, not a harsh anti-dandruff formula. @reequil Hairfall Control Shampoo is soap- and sulphate-free, suitable for regular use. ✨ Hard water exposure Mineral build-up from hard water can make hair dull and rough. @detoxie.life Hard Water Shampoo helps remove mineral deposits from the scalp and hair. I have been recommending it to my patients for years and they love it! ReelsAlmond milk recipe- Ingredients: 2 tbsp ghee 400 gms almonds- soaked 1/2 tsp sugar/ honey/ coconut sugar Vanilla extract (optional) Making almond butter cubes: Step 1: Soak almonds overnight Step 2: Blanch almonds- add soaked almonds in boiling water for 40-50 seconds and then immediately transfer them to cold water. Step 3: Peel almonds. After blanching, the peel will slip right off. Step 4: Blend all the blanched almonds in food processor with a little water if needed. This will take 4-5 minutes. Make it as fine as possible. Step 5: Add ghee, sugar and vanilla extract and blend again for a minute. Step 6: Pour this paste in ice trays and freeze. This can be stored for upto 2 months in freezer Using frozen almonds butter cubes to make almond milk: Step 1: Take out the almond butter cubes Step 2: add a little warm water and let the frozen butter melt. Add water gradually and blend until you reach milk like consistency. Step 3: Strain the milk through a cheesecloth to get rid of bigger almond particles. Store the milk in a glass bottle (for 3-4 days) and use it to make your coffee! ✨Healthy skin and hair don’t start on the surface — they start within. Then strain the broth and throw away kombu and bonito. -Marinate fish in salt, pepper and garlic paste. Set aside -Boil Rice noodles in salted water for 10 minutes. Strain and set aside 🥟 STEP 2 -Saute all the chopped vegetables in a little olive oil. Add salt and vinegar in the end. -Heat 3 tbsp olive oil in a tadka pan on low flame- add 1 tbsp garlic paste and stir until it starts to turn golden. Switch off flame and add 1 tbsp chilli flakes, 1 tsp salt and 2 tsp honey. Stir and set aside -Dip rice paper in water. Cut into 4 pieces once it turns a bit soft. Put a piece of fish in the center and fold the rice paper around it. You don’t have to be neat, rice paper gives the fish a nice crisp. Heat this for 8 minutes in air-fryer or grill on a pan on both sides until the fish is cooked (takes roughly 5-6 minutes) 🍲 STEP 3 (Serving) -Mix 1 tbsp miso paste and 1 tbsp of hot water in a small bowl. Add this mix to the broth and mix right before serving. You are not supposed to boil miso paste. -Add noodles, sauted veggies to the broth. -Garnish with chopped spring onion and sesame seeds. -Serve the dumplings and the garlic-chilli oil on the side. ❤️ @_agarwal_ansh_

Omega 3, vitamin C, vitamin D are top of the list. ✔ Humidifier & Air Purifier— to counter dry, polluted indoor air ✔ Gentle cleanser — jo skin ko strip na kare I chose @sebamedindia Gentle Facial Cleanser because: -Ideal pH 5.5, which supports a healthy skin barrier -Provitamin B5 locks in hydration -Cleanses without disrupting oil balance -HV Extract regulates oil Last but very important — regular workouts, but indoors only when AQI is this high. ReelsI was just not ready to spend money on a bunch of products so they can sit on my shelf and get expired. I’m not here to make you feel guilty for buying things on sale. I am one of you after all - a consumer. But this year, I was determined not to give in to the urge of buying something (skin care, hair care, clothes) simply because it was on sale. And honestly, it felt good! The dopamine of shopping is good, but the dopamine hit you get when you are in control of your actions hit at another level.

Reels2 Nutrients that can change the way your hair looks: 1. Protein 2. Omega fatty acids PROTEIN -Do not depend on dairy 🥛 for your protein needs. Excess of dairy can be inflammatory to the gut and can eventually lead to more deficiencies and also scalp issues. So avoid having paneer and whey in the name of protein. -Plant based protein supplements are the way to go. My preferred brands: @cosmixwellness @wellbeing.nutrition -If you are a vegetarian, make sure you load up on- chickpeas, pulses, green peas, beans, mushrooms, tofu. OMEGA FATTY ACIDS -Easiest way is to have the supplement. My preferred brands: @wellbeing.nutrition @nutrova @healthyheynutrition @swissein -Target a dose of 800-1200 mg of EPA+DHA daily 👩⚕️ 🩺 Follow for more doctor-backed hair, skin and health care tips ! ReelsAD | Do you actually need collagen? Here’s the honest answer 👇 If you’re noticing early fine lines, dullness, or mild sagging → collagen peptides can help support skin firmness. But collagen only works well when your nutrition basics are in place: Adequate protein, Vitamin D, and Omega-3. If these are lacking, collagen won’t work as much. My preferred Indian brand: Wellbeing Nutrition's Korean Marine Collagen (unflavoured). ✔️ 100% pure peptides ✔️ No taste ✔️ Dissolves instantly How to take: 1 scoop daily →in water, coffee or half glass orange juice. ReelsAdditional tip: One of the most common reasons for dandruff, itchy scalp and scalp dermatitis that most of you might not know— INFLAMMATION Things that add fuel to this inflammation: 1. Stress 2. Pollution (good luck if you are in Indian metro cities) 3. Inflammatory diet- too much processed foods, maida, wheat in every meal, dairy, sweets (honey and jaggery included) Things that make this inflammation better: 1. Diet rich in Whole foods- fruits, vegetables, meats 2. Antioxidant supplements: omega 3, vitamin E, vitamin C etc. 3. Exercises (quite literally the master of all trades) Follow for more doctor-backed hair, skin and health care tips ! ReelsAD | 🌱 Still relying on neem for acne? Here’s the simple science behind why Salicylic Acid works better. It’s oil-loving, pore-cleaning, and inflammation-reducing — all in one step. I recommend pairing @thedermacoindia 2% Sali-Cinamide Facewash with a hydrating sunscreen and Niacinamide moisturiser for a minimal yet effective acne-care routine. #AcneCare #SalicylicAcid #SkincareScience #UnderMySkin ⚠ Disclaimer: This video is for educational purposes only and doesn’t replace medical advice. ReelsI have been saying this for years — Inflammatory foods, dairy, gluten, alcohol can worsen certain skin conditions. Now science calls it Gut-skin axis. So yes it's also scientifically proven now (Not the first time when scientific studies are late to the party). 👩⚕️ I have been practicing as a general physician for over 4 years now and here is what I can tell you from experience: ❌ Completely quit gluten and dairy if you have one of these: 1. Autoimmune thyroiditis (A type of hypothyroidism) 2. Psoriasis 3. Active episode of hives, eczema, acne or dermatitis. 🔻 Reduce gluten and dairy consumption if you have: 1. Atopic Dermatitis 2. Eczema 3. Acne 4. Seborrheic dermatitis This is only one (and an important one) thing that can influence your skin and hair concerns. But 200% times, bad skin / hair is a reflection of your internal health. Try not to ignore if and seek help when in doubt! Follow for more doctor-backed hair, skin and health care tips ! Reels✨ Essential Nutrients for Hair Growth (Save this!) Healthy hair starts from within, and not just from what you apply on top 🌿✨ Here’s what I recommend as an aesthetic doctor: 1️⃣ Balanced Diet Focus on non-inflammatory proteins, healthy fats, and plenty of vegetables + fruits. Keep grains as a small portion of your plate for better metabolic + hair health. 2️⃣ Vitamin D One of the most common deficiencies I see in patients with hair fall. Supplement only after testing your levels. 3️⃣ Omega-3 Fatty Acids Helps reduce scalp inflammation, dryness, and supports healthy follicles. Brand reccos- @nutrova @wellbeing.nutrition @healthyheynutrition @sportsresearch 4️⃣ Protein Intake If you struggle to meet your daily requirement, a good-quality protein supplement can help. brand reccos. @wellbeing.nutrition vegan protein, @cosmixwellness protein pro. ✨ Remember: your hair is made of protein! Low protein in your body means brittle, dull, weak hair. Save this for your reference🤎 Follow for more doctor-backed hair and scalp care tips ! ReelsDealing with an oily, itchy, or flaky scalp? 😣 These 3 scalp-care hacks will help you balance oil, calm irritation, and reduce flakes : 💡 Hack 1: Cut down on inflammatory foods + habits (Reduce maida, dairy, sweets, smoking, alcohol etc). 🧴 Hack 2: Use an antidandruff shampoo twice a week — zinc pyrithione, selenium sulphide, ketoconazole, or salicylic acid work best. My preferred shampoo is Selsun or Saldan anti-dandruff shampoos. 💦 Hack 3: Try a cold water rinse! Just like ice water dunks calm your face, cold water reduces flaking of your scalp, soothes irritation and additionally seals your hair cuticle- giving you healthy calm scalp and frizz free hair. ReelsBiggest skincare myth I believed for years: “Oily skin doesn’t need moisturiser. ” 🚫 In reality, skipping moisturiser triggers more oil production. Skipped moisturiser after facewash → Squeaky clean & dry skin → Skin produces more oil to compensate → Excess oil and clogged pores → Acne Choosing the right moisturiser is the key. You can try the @drsheths Oil-Free Moisturiser, specially formulated for oily skin. It’s lightweight, non-greasy, and packed with the skin-brightening & pigment-fighting benefits of Kojic Acid and Kesar.
