Insane comeback by Pragg🐐🔥 Edit : @sunle_anmol Video: @stlchessclub

Praggnanandhaa played some splendid Chess on Day 2 of the Clutch Chess Champions Showdown. On a single day, he defeated Hikaru Nakamura twice, followed by a win over Fabiano Caruana - these 3 wins came in a row! Unsurprisingly, Praggnanandhaa is now the sole leader with 11 points. Pragg started the day with a clutch win over Javokhir Sindarov where both the players were in extreme time trouble. The World Championship Challenger struck back in Game 2, scoring a smooth win over Pragg! Praggnanandhaa was completely lost in the first game against Nakamura, but pulled off a huge turnaround and managed to win the game. The second game by Pragg was a Magnus-esque endgame conversion with the Black pieces - and with the 2nd win over Hikaru, Pragg had become the sole leader! Pragg's 3rd win in a row came against Fabiano - besting him convincingly with the Black pieces. The last game of the day between Fabi and Pragg was a well-contested draw. In the 3rd and final day, it will be 3 points for a win and 1 point for a draw. Expect huge swings in the leaderboard just like we saw today. Can Praggnanandhaa win yet another event at the Saint Louis Chess Club? Follow all the action from 10:30 PM IST on the ChessBase India YouTube channel!
