CarouselCity walls become a place for The Rebel Bear’s social questions. Doves, children and figures chasing approval connect everyday images with politics and human emotion. Using bold contrasts and recognisable symbols, the street artist brings themes of politics, love and human emotion into public space. The humor often has an uncomfortable edge: a playful scene can make a serious issue harder to ignore. Artist: @the.rebel.bear #art #streetart #graffiti #urbanart #publicart

ReelsLeaves, stones, soil, branches and petals become the materials for detailed animal portraits. Working directly on the ground, this artist carefully arranges their shapes, colors and textures until a recognizable face emerges from the surroundings. The finished pieces remain part of the landscape rather than separate from it. Made from what nature provides, these temporary compositions gradually change and disappear back into the environment. 🍃 Artist: 新一(修士) / 46101871539 on Douyin #art #landart #nature #artist #creative

CarouselA curve, a corner and a straight line can become a letter when seen from above. Photographer Heartpatrick used Kuala Lumpur’s architecture to find an entire alphabet. The project began with a search through Google Maps satellite images, moving from one neighborhood to another to find shapes that could work as letters. After weeks of scouting came several more weeks of photographing them. Some letters proved so difficult that he temporarily set the project aside before completing the set. Together, the images turn a familiar city into a puzzle of curves, corners and straight lines. Once you see the letters, it is hard to look at those shapes the same way again. ReelsA circle of drawings becomes a moving scene. This artist places slightly different poses around a disc, building an animation one drawing at a time. When it spins at the right speed for the camera, the figures appear to run, dance and tumble in repeating loops. The satisfying part is seeing how those separate drawings fit together. What first looks like a decorative pattern suddenly reveals a whole sequence of movement. 🌀 Artist: 动画坊 / 30282218465 on Douyin #art #animation #drawing #creative #artist

CarouselTom Booth builds a story around a lonely woodcutter, letting the illustrations carry it. As the man's hair, face and hands grow older, he keeps returning to the same woman, carving her likeness into wood. The repeated figure makes the passage of time visible: the carver changes, while the image he holds onto remains. Small gestures and the surrounding forest carry the story, leaving room to read it as a reflection on love, memory and loss. Artist: @tomwilltell #art #illustration #drawing #storytelling #digitalart

ReelsYifan Zhang builds paintings around a reveal. Layers of masking tape protect sections of gold paint while he develops the image above, keeping parts of the composition hidden until the final stage. As the tape comes away, sharp golden lines interrupt the painted figures and reshape the whole image. In some works, fire adds another dramatic element to the process. CarouselA black flag keeps releasing smoke, with no end in sight. In Western Flag (Spindletop, Texas), 2017, John Gerrard digitally recreates the site of the Lucas Gusher, the 1901 oil strike that helped usher in the modern petroleum era. At its center stands a flagpole, its flag formed entirely from continuously flowing black smoke. Nothing is actually burning. The artwork is a computer simulation generated in real time, with daylight and seasonal changes corresponding to the location in Texas. It has no fixed beginning or end. The smoke gives a visible form to something we usually cannot see: the carbon dioxide accumulating in our atmosphere. A symbol normally associated with national pride becomes an unsettling emblem of fossil-fuel dependence and its consequences. The landscape stays quiet. The flag keeps flowing. That persistence is what makes the image difficult to shake. Art by: @johngerrard.inst #art #digitalart #climateart #environment

ReelsOscar Yaquian combines detailed ceramic sculpture with playful stop-motion animation. His handmade creatures appear to grow, shift, and transform as small changes are photographed and assembled into moving sequences. The result lets you experience sculpture differently, watching the forms develop rather than seeing only the finished piece. Artist: @oscaryaquian #art #sculpture #ceramics #stopmotion #animation

CarouselChris Porsz photographed everyday life in Peterborough in the late 1970s and 1980s. Decades later, he tracked down people from those photographs and invited them to return to the same places for a new portrait. His Reunions project places the original and recreated photographs side by side. Some show friends meeting again; others reveal how families, relationships and familiar streets have changed over the years. The photographs preserve more than a pose. They connect people with moments from their younger lives, making the passage of time visible through the same faces and places. Artist: @porszpics #art #photography
