A big moment for @takeuforward ❤️ SIT Tumkur recently made TUF available to all their 3rd-year students. As we scale, this is exactly the direction we want to move in - making the best learning products accessible to more students, while making quality education more affordable than ever. A huge thank you to the entire SIT Tumkur team for believing in us and for the amazing hospitality throughout our visit. It all started with a google doc which had the DSA Sheet (the first ever as a concept) Last year, I told my team - we will have our own office being bootstrapped. And today - we have it. Apni aukaat se zyada aur haisiyat se bada sochte rehna chahiye…kya pata upar wala dekh raha ho aur keh de - tathastu — Zakir Khan To everyone who has been part of this journey from Day (Any) to today - thank you for trusting, for staying, for building when it was uncertain. We are still early. But if this is what we could do with belief and consistency, imagine what’s coming your way this year. Grateful. Always. ❤️

2025 taught me to love myself a little more. It taught me to put my energy into the people who truly stood by me. It taught me patience, gratitude, and perspective. Ending the year as a better human than I started, and knowing there’s still so much more to learn. 🌱✨

After more than 5.5 years of working in the industry, it’s time! The last 3.5 years at Google have been nothing short of incredible. As an engineer, I’ve learned and grown in ways I never imagined. But more than just code, I silently observed: how product managers led, how leaders made decisions, how great products were built. And in that silence, I learned. I evolved. Not just as an engineer, but as someone quietly preparing to build something of their own. That “something” is @takeuforward , which started as a passion and now touches nearly 1 million learners. And today, I’ve decided — it’s time to go all in. I’m calling it a day at Google. Where next? I’ll be taking up TUF full time (Engineering, Content, and Growth). Why now? Because life gave me two roads, and I had to choose one. I won’t be putting out any video around this. I’ve never been great at that type of content. The next video you see from me will be on YouTube, teaching System Design — something I’ve longed to do but never had the time for. The last 5 years have been intense: 13–14 hours almost every single day. Juggling a full-time job, content creation, and building a startup from scratch. In the process, I’ve let my health slip, distanced myself from people who matter, and ignored the small joys that make life worth living. Now, as I step into the next phase, on the other side of my 20s, I want to reclaim some of that balance. I still want to grind, but not at the cost of my body, my people, or my peace. I’m at a stage in life where two roads lie ahead, like many of you will face one day. I’ve chosen the predictable one, just like most of you do at every stage of life: to build what’s already working, to double down on what gives me financial stability, freedom, longevity, and above all, allows me to spend each day doing what I love: engineering and teaching. I leave Google with nothing but gratitude in my heart. For the people I met. For the culture I thrived in. For everything it taught me. I will always look back at this chapter with a smile. This one is for papa, who has done everything possible to fund my education, raise me up. Happy retirement, enjoy. I still remember I wanted to get a bicycle, he could not get me one because it was costly, so he gave me 5 rs everyday, and we put that into a home made “gullak” and after a year, we took all the change and got my first bicycle. We have come a long way ❤️ Thank you to the community, would not have been possible without you people. #striver
