ReelsVeg & Healthy Bibimbap I finally tried making Bibimbap at home, and I’m now a fan! I kept it simple and vegetarian with colourful veggies, fluffy Daawat Super Basmati Rice and a spicy Korean-style sauce. I loved how every ingredient has its own flavour, but once you mix everything together, it turns into one delicious bowl. Simple, colourful and so satisfying! #DaawatSuperBasmatiRice #Daawat #DaawatBasmati

ReelsCranberry Malai Modak Today, I made these soft and delicious malai modals with a simple cranberry and coconut filling. They get prepared in just 20 minutes and are perfect for adding a fruity twist to Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. Ingredients • 1 litre milk • Vinegar + water mixture, as required • 1 tbsp sugar • 2 tbsp milk powder • ½ tsp cardamom powder • ½ cup cranberries • 2 tbsp desiccated coconut Recipe • Boil the milk and gradually add the vinegar-water mixture until it curdles. Strain, rinse and drain the chenna well. • Add chenna to pan and cook. Add sugar, milk powder and cardamom powder, then cook on low flame until the mixture comes together. • Grind the cranberries and desiccated coconut together to make a coarse filling. • Grease a modak mould, add chopped cranberries, add the malai mixture, place the cranberry filling in the centre and cover with more malai. • Press gently, demould before serving. #thecranberryinstitute #cranberries #cranberrydelights #benefitsofcranberries #uscranberriesinindia

Reels"Bharat Ke Rang, Bhartiya Nari Ke Sang" Episode 2: Janmashtami Janmashtami is one of those festivals that brings the innocence, love and joy of little Kanha 🧿🧿 into our homes. This Janmashtami is extra special for me as I continue my series celebrating Indian festivals in their most traditional and beautiful way — embracing the traditions and preparing festive food. For this episode, I dressed up as Yashoda Maiya, created a beautiful Krishna jhanki, decorated my home and prepared a special festive prasad — Coconut Rose Laddoo. Coconut Rose Laddoo Ingredients: 1 fresh coconut 2 cups milk ½ cup condensed milk ½ tsp cardamom powder 10 cashews Method: 1. Grate 1 fresh coconut and cook it with 2 cups of milk on medium flame until the milk reduces. 2. Add condensed milk and cardamom powder. Cook until the mixture becomes thick and creamy. 3. Add roasted, chopped cashews and mix well. A simple festive treat, made with love for Kanha. Through this series, I’m discovering these beautiful traditions and sharing them with you, one Indian festival at a time. Celebrating Janmashtami with my little Kanha, lots of love, devotion and festive joy. Disclaimer: The peacock feather used in this video is artificial and not a real peacock feather. Happy Janmashtami! #BharatKeRang #BhartiyaNariKeSang #BristiHomeKitchen #Janmashtami #KrishnaJanmashtami LittleKanha JanmashtamiCelebration CoconutLaddoo
ReelsSchezwan Cheese Dosa Making dosa batter from scratch used to be part of my routine, but honestly, I don’t miss it! Subah breakfast, tiffin, kaam — sab ek saath hota hai. So, two years ago I switched to iD Fresh Idly Dosa Batter and haven’t looked back. Today’s quick favourite: Schezwan Cheese Dosa Spread the batter, add ghee, Schezwan chutney & grated cheese, fold and done! Crispy, cheesy and ready in under 10 minutes. No preservatives, no soda — just ghar-jaisa taste, without the hassle. Save this for your next quick breakfast. #bristihomekitchen #reels #instareel

ReelsBharat ke rang Bhartiya nari ke sang 😍😍 Episode 1:- Onam Onam is Kerala’s beautiful harvest festival, celebrated with traditions, togetherness and, of course, a grand feast. This Onam is a little more special for me because I’m starting a new series where I’ll be celebrating Indian festivals in their most traditional and beautiful way — learning about the traditions, preparing festive food and bringing those little cultural details to life at home. And what better way to begin than with Onam? For this episode, I prepared a traditional Sadya with 22 dishes: 1. Salt 2. Banana Chips 3. Sharkara Upperi 4. Nendran Banana 5. Pachadi 6. Cucumber Pachadi 7. Olan 8. Kalan 9. Cabbage Thoran 10. Erissery 11. Kootu Curry 12. Avial 13. Moru Curry 14. Parippu Curry 15. Sambar 16. Rasam 17. Inji Puli 18. Mango Pickle 19. Ada Pradhaman 20. Butter Milk Chilli 21. Pappadam 22. Matta Rice From crispy banana chips and sharkara upperi to pachadi, olan, kalan, thoran, erissery, kootu curry and avial, every dish had its own taste and story. The meal continued with moru curry, parippu curry, sambar, rasam, inji puli, mango pickle, pappadam and rice. And of course, no Sadya feels complete without Ada Pradhaman for that perfect sweet ending. I also got dressed for the occasion, made my pookalam and finally served the Sadya the traditional way on a banana leaf. What I love most about our Indian festivals is that every celebration has so many little traditions attached to it. Through this series, I hope to experience and share these traditions, one festival at a time. Starting this beautiful journey with Onam and 22 dishes of love. Happy Onam! #bristihomekitchen #reels #onam #bharatkerang

ReelsA spoonful of podi, a drizzle of ghee, and hot steaming Thatte Idli that’s pure South Indian comfort.❤️❤️ Soft, airy, and melt-in-the-mouth, Thatte Idli is a beloved breakfast from Karnataka. Its larger size and sponge-like texture make it perfect for soaking up chutney or generous drizzle of ghee and podi.😋 Podi has been a part of South Indian households for generations, especially in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, and Kerala. Every region has its own signature blend and every home has its own secret recipe. Simple ingredients, incredible flavor, and centuries of tradition in every spoonful I have shared my version of podi below. Ingredients:- Podi Masala- 1/2 Cup urad dal 1/4 Cup chana dal 1 Tbsp toor dal 15 Pcs curry leaves 8 bedgi red chilli 7 Spicy chilli 2 Tbsp grated dry coconut 1/4 Cup white sesame 1 Tsp Black Pepper 1/4 Tsp asafoetida 1/2 Tsp turmeric powder 1 Tsp salt 1 Tbsp oil Thatte Idli 2 Cup Idli rice 1/2 Cup urad dal 1/4 Cup Thin poha 1 Tso methi Thatte Idli Recipe 1. Soak idli rice separately and urad dal + methi seeds together for 4–6 hours. Soak thin poha for 10 minutes before grinding. 2. Mix all and make a smooth batter and ferment for 8–10 hours or until doubled. 3. Add salt and Pour the batter into greased Thatte Idli plates and steam for 12–15 minutes. Podi Masala Recipe 1. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Roast urad dal, chana dal, and toor dal separately until golden. Transfer to a plate. 2. In the same pan, roast Bedgi red chilies, spicy chilies, and curry leaves until crisp. 3. Dry roast dry coconut, white sesame seeds until lightly golden, then add asafoetida, turmeric powder, and salt and roast until they start to pop. 4. Let everything cool completely and grind to a slightly coarse powder 5. Store the podi masala in an airtight container. Serve with hot thatte Idli and ghee and enjoy #bristihomekitchen #southindianbrekfast #reel
