All about our adenoid journey We showed doctors in India and abroad and finally we are using a different nasal spray that’s helping .. We have not named a nasal spray because medicines should be administered and given by doctor . If surgery can be avoided there is nothing like it cause adenoids can grow back even after surgery but if there is no way out then it needs to be attended . KRISHNA LIFTS GOVARDHAN PARVAT We attached a balloon to an “empty” bottle, pasted Krishna on the bottle and Govardhan Parvat on the balloon. Then we placed the bottle in warm water. And slowly… Govardhan Parvat rose above Krishna’s finger! 🏔️☝️ 🔬 The Science: The bottle isn’t actually empty — it contains air. When the bottle is placed in warm water, heat transfers to the air inside. The gas particles gain kinetic energy, move faster and collide more frequently and forcefully. The warm air expands, moving into the flexible balloon and inflating it — making Govardhan Parvat rise! ✨ Concepts: Heat transfer • Particle theory • Gas expansion • Kinetic energy • Air occupies space 🌊 2. VASUDEV CROSSES THE YAMUNA For our second experiment, we floated Vasudev carrying baby Krishna on our little “Yamuna” and added a tiny amount of ink behind the cut-out. And off they went across the river! 💙🌊 🔬 The Science: Water molecules attract each other, creating an invisible “skin” at the surface called surface tension. The ink changes the surface tension behind the cut-out, creating an imbalance. The area with higher surface tension pulls more strongly, propelling our Vasudev and Krishna forward! This surface-tension-driven movement is related to the Marangoni effect. ✨ ✨ Concepts: Surface tension • Cohesion • Marangoni effect • Force & movement Two stories children already know. Two science concepts they can actually SEE. Science : When the candle heats the air inside the jar, the pressure of the air inside jar also rises. When this happens the high pressure outside the jar pushes down on the water in the pie plate and forces the water into the jar. 🦚 Butter in a jar You need : one jar , ghee/ clarified butter , ice cubes How to : Put ghee in jar , add some ice cubes and shake for a few minutes and your butter is ready. It covers around 30,000-50,000 feet high. This is where we live and even where planes fly. Around 80% of the mass of the atmosphere is in the troposphere. The troposphere is heated by the surface of the Earth. 🌍 Stratosphere - The stratosphere extends for the next 32 miles after the troposphere. Unlike the troposphere the stratosphere gets its heat by the Ozone Layer absorbing radiation from the sun. As a result, it gets warmer the further away you get from the Earth. Diwali part 3 - Rangoli guide for kids Am so proud that this is completely made by my boys and all my years of hard work sitting with them and teaching has finally paid off. 1. Make two circles of two colours keeping a plate in middle and then let your child take over 2. Use a fork to pull out the two colours 3. Use a ketchup bottle to make one layer of white mountains ( heaps) and then use a spoon to flatten and pull out a bit to make it look like petals . 4. Repeat the same with another layer inside. 5. Make a big dollop of orange in the middle and use cotton buds to make circular motions inside and make it look like a flower. 6. Use a strainer with a light colour like yellow to give your white a prettier effect. 7. Put orange and red heaps on the outside and then use cotton buds to make circular motions inside them. 8. Use white drops with ketchup bottle inside these 9. Make another white heap at the outside and use spoon to press and pull. 10. Finish with red drops between these petals . 🧨 Diwali series : episode 2 of 7 #save Foil Rocket You need : 1.5 inch square foil paper , 2 skewer one thicker than the other , matchbox , lighter ( from Blinkit) You can use pen refills too if you don’t have a skewer to roll , and something thinner like a pencil lead, a broomstick etc Important things to remember : 🪔 The head of the matchstick should be facing up. 🪔 Roll the skewer tightly. 🪔 Secure the side with glue. 🪔 Take out that skewer and insert the thinner one now from one end 🪔 From another end under the match head facing up and fold the mouth to secure it tightly 🪔 Rotate your fingers on it at the bottom to tighten the foil with the new skewer as in the video 🪔 Move up and down to ensure it’s not too tight or too lose. This is important so that the air doesn’t escape easily 🪔 Light up the place where the match head is and zoom …. The human would fall off ! This is your muscles without bones . 🦴 Bones : The muscles are attached to your bones and the bones won’t move without your muscles. The human doh that the kids just made would fall. Now offer them toothpicks and tell them to insert in the doh and see if it stands .. it will !! Your bones help you stand and move .. ❤️ Nerves : They carry information from the brain to the muscles and rest of the part of the body and helps the muscles move .
